She Didn't Wait for a Seat at the Table. She Built Her Own.
From Healthcare Professional to Empowerment Leader: A Journey of Faith, Resilience, and Purpose
She Didn't Wait for a Seat at the Table. She Built Her Own.
How One Single Mother Turned 33 Years in Healthcare, Personal Adversity, and Unwavering Faith into a Transformational Business and Ministry
By Kami Alaniz, RN, CPNLP
Success Doesn't Always Follow a Straight Line
Success doesn't always follow a straight line. Sometimes it takes decades of unexpected turns, personal challenges, difficult decisions, and unwavering faith before the pieces finally come together.
For more than 33 years, I worked in healthcare, raised my son as a single mother, held leadership positions, built businesses, and navigated some of life's most difficult experiences.
Along the way, I learned something that changed how I viewed success:
You don't have to follow someone else's path to create an extraordinary life.
Turning Life Experiences into Purpose
Today, as the founder of Just Brooke, LLC, author of 16 transformational books, creator of the R3B Empowerment Method™ — Remove • Reset • Rediscover • Build, and founder of Helping People Like Me Ministry — A Just Brooke Kingdom Initiative, I have discovered that many of the experiences I once considered obstacles were preparing me for the work I believe God has called me to do.
My journey has taught me that adversity does not have to define our future. The challenges we experience can become opportunities to discover our strengths, recognize our potential, and create something meaningful from what we have learned.
Building My Own Table
I didn't wait for someone to give me a seat at the table. I built my own.
And now, through Across the Table with Kami, I'm inviting others to discover that they can build their own, too.
Because sometimes the greatest opportunity in life isn't finding a place where you belong. It's having the courage to create one.
