Faith, Perseverance & Building My Own Table
I attribute my success to my faith in God, perseverance, determination, and the willingness to create opportunities rather than wait for someone else to provide them.
My journey has never followed a conventional path. I have faced personal adversity, raised my son as a single mother, built businesses, and spent 33 years working in healthcare. Along the way, I learned that obstacles do not have to become permanent limitations.
One of the most defining moments of my life came when God spoke these words to me three separate times: “Help People Like You.” Those words became the foundation of my calling and inspired the creation of Helping People Like Me Ministry — A Just Brooke Kingdom Initiative, as well as the mission behind Just Brooke, LLC.
I believe God has guided me through experiences that have prepared me for the work I am doing today. I have learned to trust that guidance, take action, and keep moving forward even when the path isn't clear.

My desire is not simply to build a successful company. I want to build a magnificent company that honors God, helps transform lives, creates opportunities, and leaves a legacy of blessings for generations to come. My prayer is that God is pleased with what I am building for Him.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Sometimes the Best Career Path Is the One You Create
My dad once told me, "You don't have to like what you do. You just have to make a lot of money."
While I understand the practical wisdom behind his advice, my life eventually taught me something different.
I spent decades working, learning, leading, and exploring opportunities that didn't always fit into a traditional career plan. I didn't follow a straight path or pursue credentials simply because society suggested they were the next step.
Instead, I gained experience, developed skills, and discovered what truly mattered to me.
Today, I believe the greatest career advice is to recognize that your career doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Every experience can teach you something valuable, even when you don't yet understand how it fits into your future.
Success isn't simply about earning money or collecting titles. It's about building a life where your work, purpose, values, and God-given gifts come together.
Sometimes the most unconventional path leads you exactly where you're meant to be.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't Just Follow a Path. Have the Courage to Create One.
First, I would tell young women that they do not have to follow someone else's definition of success.
I didn't simply enter an established industry and follow a predetermined career ladder. I combined my professional experience, personal journey, education, entrepreneurial skills, and faith to create a business that reflects my own vision.
If you have a dream, identify it, believe in its possibilities, and then determine what you need to learn and accomplish to make it a reality.
Understand that not every step along the way will be enjoyable. There may be years when you work in positions that don't fully reflect your ultimate goals. You may have to develop skills you never expected to need, overcome disappointments, and make sacrifices.
That doesn't mean you're on the wrong path. Sometimes those experiences are preparing you for opportunities you cannot yet see.
Be willing to work, learn, adapt, and grow. Don't allow other people's expectations to dictate the limits of your future.
Most importantly, stay focused on your vision, trust God for guidance, and don't give up simply because the journey looks different from what you originally imagined.
You don't have to follow an existing path. Sometimes you're meant to create one.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Turning Challenges into Opportunities Through Faith & Entrepreneurship
One of my greatest challenges has also become one of my greatest opportunities: building a multifaceted company independently.
As an entrepreneur, I have had to learn far more than the professional skills I originally brought to the business. I've learned website development, branding, digital marketing, content creation, publishing, video production, podcasting, and the many operational responsibilities involved in building a company.
When you're building something from the ground up, you quickly discover that having a vision is only the beginning. You must also learn how to bring that vision to life.
The Opportunity Is Extraordinary
I am creating Just Brooke, LLC, as a company that reflects the vision I believe God has placed on my heart. Rather than allowing conventional industry expectations or other people's definitions of success to determine its direction, I am developing a platform that integrates transformational education, healthcare knowledge, publishing, media, coaching, and ministry.
My Christian faith is central to that process. I seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit as I make decisions, develop programs, and pursue the work I believe God has called me to do.
The greatest opportunity is the freedom to build something authentic, innovative, and purpose-driven while using technology and digital media to reach individuals nationally and internationally.
I am not simply trying to fit into an existing industry. I am building a business that brings together the different areas of my experience and calling in a way that is uniquely my own.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, Integrity, Compassion & Purpose
My relationship with God is the foundation of both my personal life and my work. My Christian faith guides my decisions, my purpose, and the way I believe people should be treated.
Integrity, honesty, compassion, accountability, and service are especially important to me.
After 33 years in healthcare, I have witnessed both extraordinary dedication and situations where financial pressures, complicated systems, and competing interests can overshadow the needs of the individual. Those experiences strengthened my belief that people deserve honesty, dignity, transparency, and someone willing to advocate for them.
Building a Business Grounded in My Values
As I build Just Brooke, LLC, I have the opportunity to establish a company grounded in those values from the beginning.
I want people to know that when they come to Just Brooke, they are not simply purchasing a book, enrolling in a course, or participating in coaching. They are engaging with a business created from a genuine desire to help people overcome adversity, recognize their worth, and move toward meaningful transformation.
Through Helping People Like Me Ministry — A Just Brooke Kingdom Initiative, I also want to help individuals remove the personal barriers that may be keeping them from drawing closer to God and recognizing the presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
I believe success should never require compromising your integrity or abandoning your faith.
My goal is to build a company where purpose and business can coexist, where people are treated with respect, and where the work itself reflects the values I strive to live by.
Ultimately, I want my life and my business to represent something greater than financial success. I want them to reflect faith in action, meaningful service, and a legacy of helping others discover what is possible for their lives.
