SUITCASE
A journey of self-discovery where the most valuable souvenirs are the lessons we learn and the burdens we release.
SUITCASE
Boarded a 747 from Gate 9.
I took:
- My beliefs
- My charm
- My confidence
- My feelings
- My love
- My morals
- My sense of humor
- My thoughts
- My values
They were all neatly packed to one side.
It reads:
Cosmic Harmony
On the sticker inside.
Life is a series of patterns.
Numbers grow with age.
Time slides through our hourglass with a sense of rhyme. Seasons are rhythmic—3, 6, 9, 12 is just divine.
The shape of infinity never dies.
This time around, I left space in my suitcase on one side.
I promised myself that when I return, I would come back with my pride—
to learn to be courageous, proud, and bold; to stand in my power and learn from the load.
I want to travel lighter.
Let things go.
“Lighten up” is a lifelong destination—
a tainted path of residue filtration.
The plane disembarked.
Within the hourglass of time, I re-examined what I had packed.
I learned what fit best and what not to bring back.
I left space in my suitcase on one side—for souvenirs I promised myself I would pick up to take back:
- The smiles
- The cherished memories
- The love
Having the courage and confidence in knowing what not to re-pack.
It’s time to go back.
Boarded a 747
from a gate unnumbered.
I left my suitcase, yet I wondered.
The greatest transformation is not what we pack—it's what we uncover.
That’s worth taking back.
