Briggette Ann Blalock, a lifelong storyteller with a passion for drawing and painting, has completed her new book, My Two Great-Grandmothers: an adorable tale that follows a young girl and her beloved great-grandmothers as they are whisked away in a spaceship to spend time together.
Published by Newman Springs Publishing, Briggette Ann Blalock’s story begins with Brenda, a young girl left alone at home with no one to play with. Sad and lonely, Brenda longs to visit her great-grandmothers, who live far away. Her sadness turns to shock when a spaceship lands right outside her house and carries her away on an incredible journey that ends with her being reunited with them.
Briggette A. Blalock, a single mother and author of her third paperback book, has also completed her novel, The Square Hallo: a poignant drama that follows a single mother whose son becomes entangled in a life of crime, prompting her to stand by him as he endures baseless accusations that leave a lasting impact on them both.
Born in San Francisco, California, and raised in Oakland, California, Briggette A. Blalock graduated from City College of San Francisco and Art Instruction Schools, and earned her BA in psychology from South University. Alongside her career, she is dedicated to serving the poor and enjoys drawing and painting in her free time. Blalock and her family now reside in San Leandro, California.
