There were moments in my life when I faced uncertainty, heartbreak, and circumstances I never expected. During one of the darkest seasons of my life, I had a choice: I could allow those circumstances to define me, or I could invest in creating a different future.
I chose to invest in myself.
I went back to school. I continued learning. I worked hard to build a career that would give me independence, purpose, and opportunities that no one could ever take away from me.
It wasn't easy.
There were days filled with doubt, exhaustion, and fear. But I learned something that has stayed with me ever since:
Confidence isn't something you wait to feel. It's something you build by taking the next step.
Every class I completed, every challenge I faced, and every goal I achieved became another reminder that I was stronger than I believed.
My faith carried me through those difficult seasons. Even when I couldn't see the path ahead, I trusted that God was guiding me toward something greater than I could imagine.
Looking back, I can see His hand in every chapter of my journey.
Today, I have the privilege of leading, mentoring others, and building a career that I am incredibly grateful for. But none of those accomplishments happened overnight.
They were built one decision at a time—starting with the decision to believe that I was worth investing in.
