Luxury Haircare Without the Fragrance: Why Fragrance-Free Products Matter for Everyone
As a hairstylist with more than 30 years in the beauty industry, I have seen firsthand how much the right haircare products can impact a person's confidence and well-being. But my own experience with chemical and fragrance sensitivities made me realize just how difficult it can be to find products that work beautifully without triggering uncomfortable reactions.
Fragrance is everywhere, from shampoos and conditioners to laundry detergents and personal care products. While scented products may be enjoyable for some, for others, they can trigger headaches, migraines, skin irritation, respiratory symptoms, and other uncomfortable reactions. For people living with fragrance or chemical sensitivities, choosing everyday products can become a challenge.
Fragrance sensitivity can affect people from all walks of life. People who experience migraines, asthma, allergies, or sensitive skin may find that certain scented products trigger their symptoms. Those living with multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) or sensory sensitivities may also struggle to find products they can comfortably use. Pregnant individuals and people undergoing cancer treatment may find that smells become particularly difficult to tolerate. These individuals deserve options that allow them to care for themselves without unnecessary fragrance.
After years of struggling to find haircare that met my own needs without sacrificing performance, I decided to create something different. I founded Treo Organics to offer luxury, professional-quality haircare for people who want effective products without added fragrance. Our shampoos and conditioners are formulated without fragrance, essential oils, or scent-masking agents, and we offer different formulas for different hair types, from dry and damaged hair to fine hair that needs volume.
I wanted to prove that fragrance-free haircare doesn't have to feel medicinal or perform like an afterthought. Everyone deserves products that leave their hair looking and feeling beautiful, regardless of whether they can tolerate fragrance.

For me, this has always been about more than haircare. It's about making people who have been overlooked by the beauty industry feel seen and giving them products they can feel good about using. Fragrance-free shouldn't mean settling for less. With Treo Organics, my goal is to make luxurious, high-performing haircare accessible to people who need a different option.
