During Women’s History Month, we honor the achievements, sacrifices, and societal contributions of American women — a recognition formally established by Congress in 1987. The celebration traces its roots to International Women’s Day, first observed in 1911. This month-long observance highlights progress in equality, education, labor, and awareness.
March was chosen to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8, celebrating women around the globe for their hard work, determination, and successes — both professional and personal.
This is a global connection as we celebrate.
We all have women in history who have spoken to us, sparking our own internal passion to step up and achieve our goals, wishes, and dreams.

I want to acknowledge several women in history who have sparked my passion, humanity, and dreams of adventure. Through their work, these women left footprints firmly planted in history, paving the road for future generations.
Mother Teresa
