Your Journey Is Just Beginning – New Edition
Stop waiting for permission and start believing in the leader you were born to be.
You Don’t Need Permission to Rise
There was a time in my life when I was waiting.
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting to feel confident.
Waiting for someone to tell me I was good enough.
And the truth is—that moment never came.
What did come was fear.
Fear of failing.
Fear of being judged.
Fear of not being enough.
Then one day, I realized something that changed everything:
No one gives you permission to believe in yourself. You take it.
So many women pause their dreams, their voices, their power—because they think they need approval first. From a boss. From a partner. From society. From anyone but themselves.
But here’s what I want you to remember today:
You were born a leader.
Not when you got the title.
Not when someone validated you.
Not when everything became perfect.
You were born with leadership inside you the moment you learned how to survive, how to love, how to try again after breaking.
And here is the part we don’t talk about enough…
We are so busy being mothers, wives, and leaders.
We carry responsibility. We carry others. We carry expectations.
And somewhere along the way, our own dreams get placed in a box.
For a long time, I was so busy surviving and serving that I couldn’t even reach that box of dreams. It stayed closed. Silent. Waiting.
Until this year.
This year, I opened that box.
And one by one, I started working on the dreams inside.
And something beautiful happened…
I found myself again.
Not the title.
Not the role.
Not the responsibility.
But that little girl with big dreams.
Leadership doesn’t wait for fear to disappear.
Leadership begins when you walk forward while shaking.
The one piece of advice I give to every woman learning to believe in herself is this:
“Trust the woman you are becoming. You don’t need to be perfect to lead—you only need to be brave enough to start. Confidence isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you build by taking action—especially when you’re scared.”
Every time you act through fear, you get stronger.
Every time you stop asking for permission, you rise.
Every time you choose courage over comfort, you change your life.
If you are scared right now, that doesn’t mean you’re weak.
It means you are standing at the edge of growth.
And if you’re waiting for a sign—this is it.
Go. Even scared.
Speak. Even scared.
Dream. Even scared.
Because one day, you’ll look back and realize:
Fear didn’t stop you.
It shaped the leader you already were.
With love and belief,
