Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I am a dedicated professional and leader whose success is rooted in faith, perseverance, and a commitment to continuous growth. My professional journey, which has led me to my current role at UMV, has provided me with valuable leadership experience and opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the workplace and in the lives of those I serve.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, where I developed the strategic knowledge and leadership skills necessary to support organizational growth, empower people, and promote effective workplace practices. My work is driven by a passion for developing others, fostering positive environments, and leading with integrity and purpose.

Above all, my faith in God remains the foundation of my journey. During seasons when the path felt lonely and recognition was quiet, my faith reminded me that with God by my side, I am capable of overcoming any challenge. I am also deeply grateful for my husband and children, whose unwavering encouragement and support inspire me daily and remind me that true success is never achieved alone.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Our late Pastor always said, “Always be happy. Lead with faith, serve with heart, and rise with purpose.”

Those words have stayed with me throughout my life and career. They have guided me through challenges, strengthened my faith, and reminded me daily of the calling to serve others.

As a Pastor’s wife, I carry this message into everything I do — in my career and in our ministry. I strive to lead with faith, serve with a sincere heart, and rise each day with purpose.

His wisdom continues to live on through the way we walk, lead, and serve.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: “Even when the room is quiet and no one is clapping, keep serving, keep believing, and keep helping others—because purpose does not depend on applause.”

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are centered around service and community. I am deeply passionate about helping others, and that passion is reflected in my volunteer work with churches and schools. Supporting, encouraging, and uplifting those around me is truly at the heart of everything I do. I believe when we serve others with compassion and purpose, we help build stronger communities and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we touch.
