Her Story

About Destiny

Destiny Harris, MNM, is creative, ambitious, and self-motivated professional with a strong foundation in nonprofit management, stakeholder engagement, and mental health advocacy. I currently serve as a Reflections Program Coordinator at the Mental Health Association of Central Florida (MHACF), where I support programs centered on healing, lived experience, and community connection.

I am a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) and hold a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. My work blends creativity and strategy, with strengths in program coordination, communication, stakeholder engagement, marketing, and digital storytelling.

I am also an author of Undeniably Me, a powerful collection of poetry and original artwork that celebrates self-worth, resilience, femininity, and radical self-acceptance. Through deeply personal reflection and visual storytelling, the collection explores healing, identity, grief, empowerment, and joy—offering an immersive experience of growth and affirmation rooted in the Black female experience and universal themes of self-discovery.

Alongside my creative work, I bring a deep commitment to mental health advocacy through my professional role in community-based programming and peer support.
