Prophetess Aisha J. Adams
Prophetess Aisha J. Adams is the CEO and founder of House of Rise and Pray, Lives Depend on It Foundation, established in 2011. Ordained three years ago after completing a year-long prophetic college course in Florida, she has dedicated over 15 years to ministry. Her calling stems from personal experience as a single parent who struggled to meet essential needs, inspiring her to create a legacy of giving back to the less fortunate. Through her ministry, she provides care packs with toiletries and essential items to people experiencing homelessness, ministering to communities with compassion, integrity, and love.
Aisha’s vision extends beyond immediate needs to long-term support for women and children. She is actively working to establish a transitional apartment complex where residents can live in fully furnished units for 12 to 24 months while participating in programs such as resume building, job seeking, prayer classes, and professional counseling. Her daily work is centered on prayer and seeking opportunities to serve, embodying her belief that “we can't change the world, however, we can be a part of the change.” She recently authored a 30-day devotional, Start Your Mornings with God Daily Dose 30-Day Devotion and One-Minute Prayers by Prophetess AJA, available on Amazon.
Outside of ministry, Aisha cherishes her family, including her husband of 15 years, and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones over brunch. She continues to expand her nonprofit initiatives, focused on providing women with education, tools, and resources to create meaningful options for their lives. Guided by her faith, experience, and desire to uplift others, Prophetess Aisha J. Adams remains committed to leaving a lasting impact on her community.

What do you attribute your success to?
I would definitely say what contributes to my success is leaving a lasting impact by being a blessing to others. It's about compassion and integrity and love, most of all. I believe that we can't be a blessing if we're not prepared to be one, so being prepared and having the right character and motives is essential. This ministry is not about making money - it's about literally leaving a legacy of being a blessing to someone else.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My husband has been 100% Team Prophetess AJA supporter, always encouraging me, especially when I published my 30-day devotion book. He supports me in creating care packs and getting House of Rise and Pray positioned as a vendor at different events. Beyond my husband, my spiritual counselor and leader, Apostle Moses, who ordained me, along with his wife Lady Tashian, are always pushing me to grow in the ministry and build it. Even when I want to give up because things get hard, they pour wisdom, knowledge, and understanding into me, pushing me forward and saying 'no, this is your calling, this is what you are called to do, so yes, it gets hard, but you need to move forward.'
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would specifically say that you have to be a woman of integrity, loyalty, strength, and of course, godliness. You need to be intelligent in the things of the Lord and in the Word of God. Spend time reading your Word, spend time worshiping, and spend time praying. Spend time just being prepared to be a blessing, because we can't be a blessing if we're not prepared to be one. First and foremost, your character has to be great. Your integrity matters - you can't be in this ministry for the wrong motives. This is not about making money. This is about literally leaving a legacy of being a blessing to someone else.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Currently, my key priorities are obtaining 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and building strategic partnerships, including in-kind donations from retailers, to expand the free distribution of essential resources. At the same time, I see a significant opportunity to grow our impact by establishing a storefront and developing a transitional housing program for women and children. These initiatives will allow us to better serve our community while creating sustainable pathways for support and empowerment.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are compassion, integrity, and love, grounded in godliness and strong character. I also deeply prioritize loyalty and strength, striving to live and lead in a way that reflects these principles in every interaction.
