What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and support of my team and mentors. Their feedback has been invaluable in helping me understand where I excel and where I can improve. I view feedback as fuel—it allows me to reflect, grow, and continuously elevate my performance. For me, self-reflection, self-awareness, and actively seeking input from those invested in my development have been critical to my growth. Without the encouragement and insights from my mentors and team, I would not be where I am today.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received came from a mentor named Miranda in 2008: your reputation always precedes you, so it’s essential to cultivate a strong, positive one. She also encouraged me to seek opportunities that support growth, stay engaged, and continuously develop my skills. I’ve carried that lesson forward by learning from those with experience, observing their successes and mistakes to guide my own decisions.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: never give up and believe that anything is possible. Stay confident in your abilities, pursue your goals relentlessly, and don’t let obstacles deter you from achieving your dreams.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In sales today, one of the biggest challenges is that clients are increasingly careful about how they spend. This makes delivering an exceptional experience more important than ever. By ensuring every interaction adds value and demonstrates that their investment benefits them, we can build trust and encourage repeat business.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me most in both my work and personal life are community and faith. My Christian faith is central to who I am, and I stay actively involved in my church and local community. These values shape my decisions, relationships, and approach to everything I do.
