Alice Da Silva Lima Lovchik
Alice Da Silva Lima Lovchik is a trial lawyer and extreme metal vocalist based in the Greater Houston area. Born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, Alice was inspired to pursue law by her father, a retired federal labor judge. She earned her JD from Universidade Católica de Salvador before immigrating to the United States in 2010, where she further advanced her legal expertise with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Foreign Legal Studies from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, Alice is licensed to practice law in both Texas and New York and has spent over a decade representing clients with dedication, integrity, and empathy.
Throughout her career, Alice has built a robust trial practice focused on civil litigation, commercial disputes, personal injury, and immigration law, with a particular emphasis on catastrophic injury cases. She has appeared in both civil and immigration courts and is recognized for preparing every case as if it will go to trial. Beyond her legal practice, she is deeply committed to mentoring young female lawyers, advocating for immigrants, and demonstrating that resilience and skill can thrive even in male-dominated professions.
Outside the courtroom, Alice is a passionate extreme metal vocalist with more than 22 years of professional experience performing with bands such as Evokation, Tantalum, Insolvent, and Tharsis. She balances her demanding career with family life and personal growth, embracing sobriety, wellness, and emotional intelligence as part of her philosophy both as a lawyer and a performer. Whether in court or on stage, Alice combines discipline, creativity, and a fierce commitment to excellence.
