About Alicia
Alicia Kunert is a seasoned healthcare executive turned leadership and retirement-transition coach based in Heber Springs, Arkansas. With more than 40 years of experience in healthcare—including roles in nursing, psychology, insurance utilization review, physician practice management, and hospital administration—she has built a career focused on developing strong leaders and improving organizational effectiveness. After decades of leading teams in complex healthcare environments, she retired from her executive career at the end of 2025 to launch Primetime Life & Health Coaching full time.
Throughout her career, Alicia held senior leadership positions including Executive Director at Conway Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, Chief Administrative Officer at Radiology Associates, P.A., and Executive Director roles in orthopedic and rehabilitation settings. In 2007, she founded FYG Consulting, LLC, where she supported physician groups, healthcare organizations, and startups with strategy, contract negotiation, and operational development. Her work consistently centered on helping leaders and teams grow, strengthening systems while mentoring professionals at all stages of their careers.
Today, through Primetime Coaching, Alicia focuses on helping high-performing individuals navigate the transition into retirement with purpose and intention. She works with clients and financial planners to address not only financial readiness but also the emotional, physical, and relational aspects of life after career. Guided by her belief that retirement should be a “success-FULL” next chapter, she helps individuals create clarity, structure, and meaning so they can continue living with impact, contribution, and fulfillment in their primetime years.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Alicia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I really feel like my strength overall was building teams - the management leadership teams. I can't say that there's a personal award identity. Instead, it's in the people that I helped grow and develop. So many times it's not necessarily a personal achievement, but having built a team. That was my strength, and the reward is not something they hand you, it's seeing somebody grow that came to you scared and nervous, and then you built them up, and then you watch them supersede and live happily.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You can have a successful career as life changes seasons as her 40+ year career journey from registered nurse to healthcare administration, including his recent transition to full-time coaching after retiring from hospital administration in 2025.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You can help others as she works with financial planners to help clients create purposeful retirement plans, addressing the non-financial aspects of retirement like health, relationships, and purpose.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values in my work and personal life are being able to help build strong management teams and support others in their professional growth, as reflected in both my leadership experience and volunteer work at New Life Church. I also value service, connection, and balance, which I carry into my personal life through my enjoyment of the outdoors and spending time boating on the water.
