Before transitioning fully into the HVAC industry, Larson built a diverse professional background in healthcare and technical services. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in 2011 and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician, working in hospital pharmacy settings that included the Orlando Cancer Center and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. She also completed professional certification in dog grooming before ultimately dedicating her career to business leadership. Her multidisciplinary experience has provided her with a strong foundation in operational excellence, customer care, problem-solving, and process optimization, all of which continue to shape her leadership philosophy.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Amanda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistently showing up, working hard, and giving my best effort every day. My parents set a powerful example through their strong work ethic, dedication, and reliability, and I have carried those values throughout my career. I also believe in implementing structured processes, continuously learning, leveraging technology, and investing in my team's growth, which has enabled both the business and our people to succeed together.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received came from watching my parents lead by example. They consistently showed up, never shied away from hard work, and always gave their full effort. That example taught me the importance of reliability, perseverance, and approaching every opportunity with dedication and commitment.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the HVAC industry is simple: don't be intimidated. Show up every day, work hard, and give your best effort. This industry offers tremendous opportunities, and women are absolutely capable of succeeding and leading when they approach the work with confidence, determination, and a willingness to learn.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face is overcoming assumptions that often come with being a young woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry. People sometimes assume the man beside me is the business owner rather than recognizing my leadership role as CEO. From a business perspective, our market has also been impacted by three major hurricanes, which resulted in widespread HVAC replacements and temporarily reduced replacement opportunities. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunities through innovation, maximizing the capabilities of trade technology such as ServiceTitan, improving operational efficiency, and building scalable business processes that support long-term growth.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me are reliability, accountability, fairness, understanding, and loyalty. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated, consistently showing up, following through on commitments, and giving my best effort every day. I also place a high value on maintaining a healthy balance between my professional responsibilities and family life, ensuring that success in business never comes at the expense of the people who matter most.
