Amanda Morton
Amanda Morton is a seasoned attorney specializing in commercial finance, real estate, and corporate law, and currently serves as a Partner at Ice Miller LLP. With nearly two decades of legal experience, Amanda advises clients on a wide range of transactions, including complex real estate transactions, leasing arrangements, and real estate and asset based finance transactions. She is known for her ability to resolve intricate and novel issues and structure deals with precision and clarity.
In addition to her real estate and finance practice, Amanda brings a robust background in corporate law. Her corporate counsel experience includes advising for-profit and non-profit companies on intellectual property matters, contract negotiations, asset purchases, mergers, buy-sell transactions, international transactions, compliance, and corporate transitions.
Amanda holds a J.D., cum laude, from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science with a certificate in Spanish Interpreting from Wake Forest University. Based in Tampa, Florida, she is an active member of the commercial real estate community and values thoughtful collaboration and client-focused service. The biggest opportunities can always be found in the spaces that are underserved.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me—both professionally and personally—are balance, discipline, and curiosity. I’ve spent the last nine years building a career I’m proud of while staying active through travel, hiking, and running, and staying engaged with my kids. I also prioritize health and wellness, and I’m passionate about being involved in organizations that promote nutrition and overall well-being.
