Ten minutes with Amara
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice was actually from my father. He always reminded my siblings and I from a very tender age, that hard work is very essential in life, and it always pays off in the long run.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never give up and to stay grounded in faith. I believe that if God calls you to a path, He will equip you and open the right doors at the right time. Stay intentional about seeking His guidance, keep your goals clear, and approach your work with consistency and dedication—both are paramount for long-term success.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, balance, and presence. I cherish spending quality time with my husband and children—whether traveling together or supporting their activities. My daughter is passionate about cheer, my sons play soccer and basketball, and my youngest is exploring gymnastics. Being actively involved in their lives keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of dedication, encouragement, and living with intention.
