About Ana
Ana Allman is a global logistics procurement leader with more than 15 years of experience optimizing supply chains, developing strategic sourcing initiatives, and building strong international supplier partnerships. As Senior Manager of Global Logistics Strategic Sourcing at Solstice Advanced Materials, she leads sourcing strategies across ocean freight, heavy-weight air, bulk and barge, small parcel, and customs brokerage. Her work focuses on delivering cost-effective, sustainable solutions while strengthening service, risk management, and supply chain resilience across diverse global markets.
Before joining Solstice Advanced Materials, Ana held strategic sourcing and logistics leadership roles with Honeywell and Albemarle Corporation, where she managed global ocean and air procurement as well as North American over-the-road and warehousing sourcing. Earlier in her career, she spent more than seven years with Volvo Group and Daimler Trucks North America, gaining extensive experience in logistics operations, international trade, pricing, business analysis, customer support, and global freight movement. Her career reflects a strong combination of procurement expertise, operational knowledge, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership.
Ana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Winthrop University, where she graduated with honors and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. She also earned a BBA from Universidad Tecnológica Empresarial de Guayaquil. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Ana is recognized for her strengths in international negotiations, supplier relationship development, business analysis, strategic leadership, and problem-solving. Through her work, she continues to build collaborative supplier ecosystems and procurement strategies that support operational excellence, global growth, and long-term value.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to curiosity, perseverance, continuous learning, and a willingness to learn from others. My early entrepreneurial experience and more than 15 years in supply chain, logistics, and procurement have taught me to embrace challenges and see the bigger picture. I also value mentorship, networking, and giving back to others, while being a mother remains my greatest achievement and motivation. Most importantly, I believe in never giving up, believing in myself, and always striving to become my best.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to never give up and always believe in yourself. Stay curious, ask questions, learn from challenges, and focus on doing your best. Be open to continuous learning and seek out a mentor who has already walked the path and can help guide your growth.
