I attribute my success to the values my parents instilled in me and my siblings from an early age. They often reminded us, “Good, better, best—never let it rest until your good is better, and your better is best.” Those words became a lifelong standard of excellence for me. They taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of never settling for less than my best.

That mindset has helped me remain focused on my God-given purpose, my vision, and my goals—even during seasons when others didn’t understand or believe in what I was called to do. I learned to believe in myself because I first learned to believe in God.

One of the scriptures that has guided my life is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That verse reminds me that my strength and success come from Him.

I also believe success is measured by how we treat people. I strive to live by the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Whether in business or in my personal life, I intentionally lead with the Fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Character will open doors that talent alone cannot.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to pursue work that you genuinely enjoy—work that not only fulfills you but also creates value in the lives of others. Success isn’t just about earning a living; it’s about making a difference.

I’ve learned that when your passion aligns with your purpose, your work becomes more than a career—it becomes your calling. If you’re committed to serving others with excellence, integrity, and consistency, success will follow. Don’t chase titles or recognition; focus on the impact you leave and the lives you help transform.

Believe in the vision God has given you, even when others don’t see it. Everyone will not understand your purpose, and everyone will not think the way you do—and that’s okay.

Don’t waste your energy trying to convince everyone. Instead, focus on becoming the best version of yourself, serve with excellence, and let your work speak for itself. Present your message with confidence, authenticity, and compassion, then trust God with the results.

Remain teachable, continue learning, and never stop growing. Your character, consistency, and integrity will often speak louder than your words. Remember, you were never called to be like everyone else—you were created to make a difference.

One of the biggest challenges in my field is helping people understand that etiquette is not about being pretentious or following outdated rules—it’s about showing respect, building meaningful relationships, and presenting the best version of yourself. Many people don’t realize the impact that good etiquette can have on both their personal and professional lives.

I often say, “It’s better to know etiquette and not have to use it than to have to use it and not know how.”

The greatest opportunity is that etiquette sets you apart. It can open doors and, more importantly, help keep those doors open. Many people can earn an opportunity, but not everyone has the interpersonal skills, professionalism, and confidence to sustain it. Proper etiquette helps you leave a lasting impression and creates an experience that people remember long after you’ve left the room.

The values that matter most to me are faith, integrity, excellence, compassion, and service. I strive to live with purpose and to treat every person with dignity and respect.

More than any title or accomplishment, I want my life to leave a legacy. My greatest desire is to plant seeds that will continue to grow long after I’m gone—seeds of faith, character, leadership, and kindness that will impact generations to come. Success isn’t measured only by what we achieve, but by the lives we influence and the legacy we leave behind.
