Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being a natural problem solver with a strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative. I started my career in an entry-level receptionist role and consistently sought out additional responsibilities to expand my skills and demonstrate value. Over the years, I’ve learned to thrive in complex, fast-moving environments, adapting quickly, staying solutions-focused, and serving as a strategic operational partner to leadership teams across multiple industries.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I advise young women entering the workforce to establish career independence early and prioritize professional growth before making major life commitments that might limit flexibility. It’s important to advocate for yourself, take ownership of your ambitions, and remain both financially and professionally self-sufficient.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in operations and leadership roles today is the constant expansion of responsibilities without formal recognition or title alignment. At the same time, there are significant opportunities as the demand for Chief of Staff and operations-focused leadership roles grows, valuing adaptability, organizational intelligence, and the ability to work fluently across departments.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are independence, accountability, adaptability, and long-term vision. Professionally, I focus on maintaining control over my career trajectory and building credibility through results. Personally, I prioritize family, balance, and being fully present during key moments in my children’s lives. Outside of work, I enjoy writing and running my small business as a self-published children’s book author, hosting my podcast *Rough Draft* on balancing entrepreneurship with life and family, and maintaining a disciplined fitness routine with CrossFit and weightlifting. Spending quality time with my family, enjoying summer and fall days at the boat club, and supporting my children’s activities are central to how I live and lead.
