As a musician, deadlines have shaped my life from exams to concerts. They keep energy high, drive projects forward, and offer a clear point of celebration and closure.

Her Story
About Annie
Pianist, International Entrepreneur and Corporate Curator, Annie Pirmoradi brings over 30 years of international entrepreneurial experience shaped by music, business, investment, art, and transformation. Her multidisciplinary background has given her a distinctive ability to connect different fields, recognize opportunities, and bring people, knowledge, and resources together. Rather than following a single professional path, she has built her work by orchestrating different disciplines into a coherent whole—turning experience into expertise, expertise into perspective, and perspective into meaningful transformation.
Her entrepreneurial journey has unfolded across music, art investment, historical real estate, European châteaux, business development, specialized financing, and entertainment. In Germany, she founded and led an accredited international music institute whose students represented 12 different countries.
Courses were given in six languages. For nearly two decades, she continued to lead the institute while steadily expanding her entrepreneurial activities into other fields.
After relocating from Europe to Los Angeles, Annie continued to build her international business activities, working with real estate investors and international clients, teaching piano, participating in speaking engagements and events, and developing new entrepreneurial initiatives. Her work in Los Angeles eventually led to the founding of the International Academy of Film, Music & Entertainment Business, bringing together her experience in education, entertainment, international business, and her relationships across cultures and industries.
The Academy reflected a broader philosophy that had already become characteristic of her work: different disciplines need not exist separately. Like the instruments of an orchestra, each contributes its voice while serving a larger composition. She sees herself as the conductor, bringing these different areas of expertise into a coherent whole and creating new possibilities where different worlds meet.
Annie’s multidisciplinary education includes piano performance and pedagogy at the Paris Conservatory and studies at other renowned schools and institutions, encompassing music therapy, music management, interior design, and real estate. Her education, combined with more than three decades of international practice, has allowed her to develop expertise across disciplines while gaining a distinctive understanding of how they intersect.
Fluent in four languages, Annie has lived and worked in many metropolises across three continents, bringing a global, relationship-driven perspective to her work. Her ability to move between cultures, industries, and professional environments enables her to recognize connections and opportunities that may not be visible within a single discipline.
Her professional philosophy has been shaped not only by achievement, but also by significant challenges and reinvention. She believes that challenges can be gifts, giving us the opportunity to transform them into new possibilities. This belief is deeply connected to the origins of her Healing Scale methodology, which she developed more than 30 years ago through her background as pianist and in music therapy, personal investigation, experience, and continuous refinement. What began through her own search for healing evolved into a methodology through which music and other elements are used to heal, support human well-being, resilience, and transformation.
Today, Annie brings this expertise to people and organizations through Healing Scale and her broader work in transformation, as well as through speaking engagements, educational initiatives, and international collaborations. Her work is ultimately about helping people unlock greater human potential and transform the way they live, work, perform, and lead.
Her forthcoming book is a unique collection of private recorded conversations with dozens of world-renowned celebrities—many of them recipients of some of the world’s most prestigious Awards, including the Oscar, Nobel Prize, Palme d’Or, Pulitzer Prize, Emmy, and others. Bringing such extraordinary figures to her microphone and into her book is itself a remarkable achievement. Written for celebrities, not about them, the book goes beyond fame to explore the challenges, choices, and experiences behind extraordinary achievement.
Together with her international network, her work of Transformation by Design, speaking work, and recognition as a two-time recipient of the Arts for Peace Award for her work toward global peace, these experiences reflect the breadth of her vision and perspective—an Attainable Vision of Global Peace woven into her work, her collaborations, and her commitment to human harmony.
If peace is an attainable vision, what could each influential woman do—through her work, her leadership, and the way she lives—to help weave that vision into the world we share today and the world future generations will inherit?

Ten minutes with Annie
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of rigorous education, diverse experience, continuous curiosity, and enthusiasm, together with the ability to transform what I have experienced into something useful for others. Music gave me discipline, creativity, precision, and an understanding of how individual elements can come together to create something greater than any one of them alone. My education and professional experience across different fields and countries then expanded that foundation into a broader perspective.
Throughout more than 30 years of international entrepreneurship, I have worked across music, education, business, investment, real estate, art, entertainment, and transformation. Rather than seeing these as separate careers, I have always looked for the connections between them. Each discipline has contributed another instrument to the same orchestra, and each experience has added another dimension to my expertise and perspective.
I have also experienced significant personal and professional challenges and periods of reinvention. Those experiences taught me something that has become central to my philosophy: a challenge does not have to remain a limitation; it can become the starting point for transformation. This perspective was particularly important in the development of my Healing Scale methodology, which grew from my own search for a lasting solution and eventually became a way of helping others.
Over time, I learned that success is not simply about accumulating knowledge or achieving results. It is about understanding what those experiences mean, recognizing the connections between them, and knowing how to turn them into value. That is what I continue to bring to my work today: helping bring out the best potential in each person—whether that means developing a musical talent, unlocking healing potential, founding a business, or creating greater balance between life and work.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to remain curious, stay open to different perspectives, and understand that every experience can add something valuable to the way we think and work. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of learning from accomplished people in music, business, real estate, investment, and the arts. Each brought a different perspective, and those perspectives often became more valuable when I connected them with my own experience.
One particularly influential mentor in the United States, an accomplished real estate investor, helped me understand the American investment landscape and the relationship between finance, real estate, and entertainment. His guidance expanded my perspective at an important stage of my international career.
But I have also learned that mentorship is not limited to formal advice. Sometimes the most valuable lesson comes from observing how accomplished people make decisions, what they pursue, what they decline, and what they choose not to do. Understanding both the choices and the non-choices can reveal principles that are not always visible from the outcome alone.
For me, the greatest career advice is therefore not to follow someone else’s path, but to develop the ability to recognize what is meaningful for you. Be curious, observe carefully, draw on the experience of others, and then bring those insights into your own perspective. A successful career is not necessarily a straight line; it is the composition we create from the experiences, choices, and possibilities we encounter along the way.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering real estate, investment, and business is not to limit themselves to a single career path or a single definition of success. A professional journey does not always have to be linear, and experiences that may seem unrelated at first can become valuable parts of your expertise and perspective.
I encourage women to develop strong financial and business understanding, know their assets and responsibilities, and understand the decisions they are making rather than simply relying on others to make them for them. Knowledge creates confidence, but experience gives that knowledge perspective.
I also believe that personal well-being and professional performance are deeply connected. Taking care of yourself is not separate from achieving success; it supports your ability to think clearly, make good decisions, and sustain your performance over time.
Most importantly, do not allow difficult circumstances to define you or your future. Challenges can change your direction, but they can also reveal opportunities and strengths that you may not have recognized before. Be open to different possibilities, seek out people whose experience you respect, and build a life and career in which your different abilities can work together rather than having to fit into one box.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see some of the greatest possibilities today at the intersection of fields that are often treated separately—real estate, investment, entertainment, education, wellness, and international business. The world is becoming increasingly interconnected, and people and organizations need to be able to think across disciplines, cultures, and professional environments.
Throughout my career, I have worked across countries, industries, and very different circumstances. Each transition required me to build new relationships, understand new environments, and recognize possibilities that were not always visible at first. Moving from Europe to Los Angeles was one of those significant transitions. I had to establish a new professional network and navigate an unfamiliar market, while bringing with me the experience and perspective I had developed internationally.
Another important example came much earlier, when I experienced long-lasting shoulder pain that prevented me from practicing the piano for the six hours a day I needed for my piano graduation final examination, a demanding two-phase examination required to become a professional pianist. Rather than giving up, I had to rethink the way I practiced and the techniques I had developed over many years. I successfully completed the examination, receiving the unanimous verdict and congratulations of the jury.
This experience left me with a principle that became central to my pedagogical philosophy: “Practice Smarter, Not Harder.” It taught me that achievement is not necessarily about doing more, but about understanding how to work more intelligently, effectively, and sustainably.
The shoulder pain, however, continued for more than a year afterward. When the available medical approach did not offer the lasting solution I was looking for, I began investigating, studying, and experimenting with different approaches. This ultimately led me to create my own method, which first healed me, then helped musicians and later others, and eventually evolved into my Healing Scale methodology.
These experiences have shaped what I now see as my philosophy of transformation: challenges can change our direction, but they can also reveal possibilities that would otherwise remain undiscovered. Today, I believe there is tremendous potential when people bring together different areas of expertise, relationships, and perspectives rather than keeping them in separate boxes. My work is to bring the knowledge and experience I have developed across these worlds into meaningful collaborations and new possibilities for people and organizations.
More force is not necessarily the answer; intelligent transformation can produce a better result.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, curiosity, compassion, responsibility, and service to others. But for me, values are not simply principles we name; they are reflected in the way we live, work, make decisions, and treat the people around us.
My journey across music, education, business, investment, real estate, art, entertainment, and transformational work has taught me to remain open to different perspectives and to recognize the value of connecting people, knowledge, and opportunities across cultures and industries. I believe that different experiences do not have to compete with one another; they can become parts of a much greater whole.
I also believe deeply in the connection between human well-being and meaningful achievement. Success should not require us to sacrifice the person who is achieving it. The way we live, think, work, and care for ourselves influences the quality of what we are able to create and contribute.
One principle has become especially important to me: I believe in preparing people to recognize their potential before a crisis forces them to discover it. Challenges will inevitably come, but when people have greater awareness, knowledge, confidence, and the right support, they can often transform difficult circumstances into new possibilities.
This is ultimately what I value most: transformation that creates greater human potential and meaningful results. Whether I am working with an individual, an executive, an entrepreneur, or an organization, I want to bring together experience, expertise, and perspective in a way that creates something genuinely valuable.
For me, success is not only what we accomplish, but what we are able to transform, contribute, and leave behind for others.
