Her Story
About Arlicia
Arlicia Bryles is the Co-Owner and Branch Broker of Ellum Realty Firm in Norman, Oklahoma, where she leads a team of approximately 12 agents while continuing to perform as a top producer in a competitive market. With more than 12 years of experience in real estate, she has built her career around brokerage management, agent training, residential sales, and real estate investing, and she also provides home staging services to help her clients' listings stand out. Before entering real estate, she spent years in corporate leadership at Walmart and Sam's Club, overseeing roughly 200 employees across seven departments, an experience that sharpened her operational instincts and her ability to develop and lead people, skills she later carried into building her own brokerage.
Beyond her production numbers, Bryles measures her success by the growth of the agents she mentors, viewing her role as branch broker as an extension of her broader mission to develop people and create opportunity. She is a national member of the National Association of Realtors and serves on its national relief committee, supporting fellow agents affected by natural disasters. Her investment in the community is equally deep, with regular involvement in the Infant Crisis Center, back-to-school giveaways, and her regional food bank. In recognition of her impact, she has been selected for feature in Influential Women 2026.
Grounded in faith and a commitment to being a positive force in the lives around her, Bryles brings that same purpose to her personal life, where she strives to set a strong example for her children. She is also the author of Rooms of Resilience, a motivational book that reflects on navigating life's unexpected turns. Her guiding philosophy, one she shares often with young women entering the industry, is to stay realistic, extend grace to oneself while learning, and understand that consistency and a willingness to fail forward are what ultimately drive lasting success.

Ten minutes with Arlicia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my faith, resilience, consistency, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Every challenge I have faced has strengthened my determination and taught me how to keep moving forward, even when the path was not easy. I have also learned the importance of remaining teachable, building meaningful relationships, and staying committed to the vision God placed in my heart.
My success is not measured only by accomplishments, but by the lives I have impacted, the opportunities I have created, and the example I am setting for my children and other women. I believe success comes from doing the work, staying grounded in your purpose, and refusing to allow setbacks to define your future.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I've received is to never quit what you set out to do. Success is found in consistency—if you keep showing up and doing the work, the opportunities that follow are endless to your success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the real estate industry is to remain confident, committed, and willing to learn. Build your business on integrity, genuine relationships, and exceptional service rather than comparing your journey to someone else’s. Be consistent, find strong mentors, understand your contracts and the business side of the industry, and never be afraid to ask questions.
There will be challenges, but do not allow rejection or setbacks to make you question your purpose. Stay focused, continue developing your skills, and remember that your authenticity is one of your greatest strengths. Success may not happen overnight, but with discipline, resilience, and faith, you can create a meaningful and lasting career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in our field right now is navigating a difficult market shaped by high interest rates, inflation, and affordability concerns, which causes some buyers to hesitate. At the same time, this creates opportunity for buyers and investors who are willing to act despite the uncertainty, and for agents like myself who focus on educating clients and adding tangible value, such as home staging, to stand out in a competitive market.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith is central to who I am, and I strive to be a vessel for positive change in the lives of others. Integrity, service to my community, and setting a strong example for my children guide everything I do, both in my brokerage and in my personal life.
