What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, persistence, and a commitment to continuous growth. In business, challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but I’ve learned to keep moving forward even in difficult moments and to view obstacles as temporary rather than final. I focus on solving problems one day at a time, maintaining the mindset that every situation can improve, and striving to be just a little better with each step forward.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to be intentional about the people I surround myself with and to build a trusted “tribe” of mentors and peers who will give honest, constructive feedback—not just agreement. I’ve learned the value of seeking input from a mix of perspectives, including leaders I respect and peers who can challenge my thinking, and remaining open to criticism as a tool for growth rather than something to resist. Equally important, I’ve been encouraged to stay authentic and transparent in how I lead and communicate, while also developing the resilience and backbone needed to navigate difficult decisions.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to take the time to truly know yourself—your strengths, your weaknesses, and how both show up in your work. Your strengths will naturally carry you, but real growth comes from being willing to confront and develop your weaker areas instead of avoiding them. If you can turn those weaknesses into areas of competence and even strength, they can become your greatest advantage. Embracing that kind of self-awareness and continuous improvement will set you apart and build long-term confidence and resilience in your career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in my field is strong industry growth, especially in family entertainment, where demand for shared experiences continues to rise. At the same time, increased competition means higher expectations for quality, innovation, and value.
The main challenge is operating in an environment where family budgets are tighter and consumer behavior has shifted post-COVID. Success requires staying ahead of trends, adapting quickly, and consistently delivering meaningful, accessible experiences that bring families joy.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, authenticity, and humility. I believe integrity is foundational—approaching every decision and action with honesty and consistency leads to trust and long-term success. Equally important is authenticity, showing up as my true self and leading in a way that is genuine and aligned with my values. Finally, I value humility, being open to learning, acknowledging when I’m wrong, and continuously growing from experience.
