Ava Jones

Ava Jones is the Founder of Simplanica, an AI-driven lifestyle and event planning app designed to help people break down big goals into smaller, achievable milestones. The app, set to launch in the App Store within the year, focuses on enhancing human-to-AI relationships through personalized encouragement and step-by-step guidance. A self-taught tech enthusiast, Ava developed the app from the ground up to help people reach milestones with the support of AI, using an emotive voice to guide users in areas ranging from fitness goals to family milestones.

Ava’s journey into technology began in 2021 when she helped her employer build a CRM system, sparking her interest in coding and app development. She immersed herself in learning—using tools like ChatGPT to experiment with building models—and quickly discovered a passion for creating digital solutions that blend innovation with human experience. From there, she began developing Simplanica, combining her operational expertise with her growing technical skillset.

Outside of her work on Simplanica, Ava is a Senior Operations Leader with extensive
experience in performance management, talent development, and operational strategy. She has held leadership roles in major organizations across life sciences, medical technology, and education, where she consistently built strong teams and created cultures of excellence. Currently, she serves as a Regional Operations Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area, balancing her professional role with the demands of her growing tech startup.
