Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My success is rooted in passion, perseverance, and resilience. I’ve learned to stay committed to what I love, to keep going through challenges, and to lead with hope and determination even in uncertain moments. That mindset continues to guide my growth, focus, and purpose.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is simple but powerful: never give up. I was reminded that a closed door is not an ending, but a redirection, and that new opportunities often appear with time and patience. This perspective has shaped my resilience, strengthened my resolve, and reinforced the importance of staying committed to my goals, even when the path forward isn’t immediately clear.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

💜 Learn deeply, not quickly. Trends come and go, but education, safety, and integrity will always set you apart. Be the professional others trust with their most vulnerable moments.

💜 Let compassion be your superpower. Skill matters, but presence heals. When a client feels seen, heard, and safe, you are already doing meaningful work.

💜 Know your worth and protect your boundaries. Saying yes to everything leads to burnout. Choose opportunities that align with your values, not just your schedule.

💜 Never stop growing. This industry is bigger than beauty. Medical, wellness, oncology, and integrative care are expanding spaces. Stay curious. Stay educated.

💜 Find mentors and become one. Community will carry you further than competition ever could. There is room for all of us when we lift each other.

💜 Remember why you started. On the hard days, return to your purpose. When your work comes from your beautiful heart, it becomes life-changing for others…and for you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is overcoming fear and resistance, particularly from hospitals, regarding the importance of self-care during cancer treatment. Many patients and providers may underestimate how crucial self-care is for treatment outcomes and overall well-being. At the same time, this presents a significant opportunity to advocate for holistic care approaches, educate healthcare teams, and empower patients to prioritize their physical and emotional health throughout their treatment journey.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, integrity, and compassion. I strive to be truthful and transparent in all my interactions, uphold strong ethical principles in every decision I make, and approach others with empathy and understanding. These values guide my relationships, my work, and the way I contribute to the communities around me.

Compassion first.

I lead and live with empathy. Whether teaching, treating, or simply listening, I meet people where they are and honor their humanity.

Integrity and safety.

Doing things the right way matters more than doing them fast or flashy. I choose ethics, education, and responsibility even when it’s harder.

Purpose over ego.

My work is not about recognition. It’s about service, impact, and creating something that genuinely helps others.

Excellence through education.

I value depth, mastery, and lifelong learning. Knowledge is not optional. It is a form of care.

Community over competition.

I believe in gathering healing hands, mentoring others, and building each other up rather than guarding space.

Boundaries with heart.

I give generously, but also protect myenergy, your time, and my well-being. Sustainability matters.

Authenticity.

I show up as myself. Honest. Warm. Grounded. I don’t separate whoI am from what I do.

Legacy and impact.

I think beyond today. I care about what I leave behind, the professionals I shape, and the culture of compassion I've been able to help create.
