Her Interview

Ten minutes with BLANCA

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute it, above all, to my parents; the education they instilled in me is priceless.

In addition, a combination of personal strengths played a role: passion, perseverance, self-confidence, work-life balance, empathy, a strong support system (network of contacts, family, and mentors), and the constant pursuit of growth and a clear vision in an environment that values inclusion.

Arriving in a completely different country, with a different language and culture, was one of my first challenges. Balancing work with caring for a child who was only 3 years old, and later another baby, wasn't easy, but perseverance and the desire to succeed have brought me to where I wanted to be, and I will continue to strive every day to give my best in both my professional and personal life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't feel insignificant in important matters.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn to serve with excellence without losing your personal value.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Digitalization and the demand for personalized and efficient services to improve guest satisfaction and productivity.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and honesty, spirituality, love for God, neighbor, nature, animals, and oneself. Love leads you to do everything well, with joy and enthusiasm, NO complaints. It is a commitment to life. If you have a bad day, sing and smile all the time.
