Brandi N. Hines, MBA, is an accomplished operations professional with over a decade of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and team leadership. Currently serving as Operations Manager at DP World in Fairburn, Georgia, she oversees outbound shipments and leads a team of 60 associates, ensuring operational efficiency, timely deliveries, and high levels of customer satisfaction. Known for her ability to build high-performing teams, Brandi excels in mentoring diverse groups and implementing leadership frameworks that drive organizational success while upholding corporate values and mission.

Brandi’s career journey began in logistics and supply chain roles at companies including DHL Supply Chain and GXO Logistics, where she gained hands-on experience in warehouse management, production planning, and quality control. She progressed through supervisory and managerial positions, acquiring expertise in third-party logistics, warehouse management systems, and customer service excellence. Her dedication to continuous improvement and operational excellence has earned her recognition as a dynamic leader capable of transforming teams and processes to achieve measurable results.

Committed to lifelong learning, Brandi earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management and a minor in Healthcare Management, followed by a Master of Business Administration from American InterContinental University, graduating with a 3.93 GPA. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of hard work, guidance, and a commitment to excellence. Within my first year at DP World, I was promoted to Operations Manager, and I was recently honored as Leader of the Month for delivering outstanding customer service. A key factor in my growth has been the mentorship of Carlos Cody, who helped me uncover my leadership potential. Even after ten years, he continues to guide and inspire me, shaping the professional I am today.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I was given was to be confident in anything I do. Always be open to feedback and willing to learn.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be confident in who you are and what value you can bring to the table. Don’t be afraid to strive for bigger and better results.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The industry is very competitive right now. There is a huge opportunity to grow within my field with the current knowledge and skills I possess.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are resilience, empowerment, and service. I am deeply committed to inspiring other women in male-dominated industries and actively participating in community events through my chapters. As a single parent pursuing both education and career success, I strive to be a role model for young women facing similar challenges, showing them that perseverance and dedication can open doors to meaningful opportunities.
