Brenda Francis
Brenda Walker-Francis is the owner of Forever Yours Texas, a wedding and event planning business. Her passion for planning began nearly 37 years ago when she organized her own wedding without any prior knowledge of event planning. With the help of a friend of her husband’s sister, she realized how overwhelming it could be for a bride to manage every detail alone. That experience ignited a lifelong passion for creating memorable celebrations, and for years she coordinated weddings and events for friends, family, and her church, honing her skills as a lead decorator and event coordinator.
To take her passion to the next level, Brenda earned certifications in Interior Decorating and Wedding Planning through Penn Foster Career School, combining her creativity with professional training. Over the years, she has built a reputation for meticulous planning, thoughtful design, and seamless execution, managing everything from vendor coordination and event logistics to day-of oversight. Her clients benefit from her hands-on approach, personalized guidance, and dedication to making every event meaningful and unforgettable.
Beyond her professional work, Brenda is deeply committed to community and service. She has volunteered with the Austin Street Shelter and is an active member of the Greater Austin Black Chamber. After pausing her work to care for her mother and address health matters, she is now ready to expand her business, take on more clients, and eventually hire assistants to grow her team. For Brenda, this work is more than a career—it’s a true calling, and she finds fulfillment in helping others celebrate life’s most important moments.

She attributes her success to her entire journey which started out when she got married 36 years ago, and planned her entire wedding. She knew nothing about event planning at that time, but she learned very fast and later went back and got her certifications in event planning after already having a certification from Penn Foster in interior design, which just added to her skillset so that she is now able to create and host many beautiful memorable weddings and events.
