Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a strong foundation built over five years in banking and three years in commercial lending, combined with my natural aptitude for numbers and a genuine passion for adding value beyond the spreadsheets. One of my proudest achievements is becoming the first commercial banker at my company—a role I helped create and continue to shape by setting the standard for success.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can’t make everyone happy, but you should always be true to yourself and excel at your work.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering banking is to never hesitate to ask questions—this industry can feel overwhelming and complex, so being comfortable and confident in seeking clarity is key to success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in banking right now is finding people who are both willing and capable to work in the field, as it’s not always the first career choice for many young professionals despite the great opportunities it offers.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in work and life are honesty, caring, and making sure everything I do has meaning and is done the right way, while always being there for my community and coworkers.
