Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brittany
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My biggest life lesson is that it is okay to pivot. The person I was even a year ago is not necessarily the person I am today. I believe it is important to remain present and identify what brings me joy and purpose in the current moment. It is okay to let go of what should have been or what could have been because our plans do not always unfold exactly as we expect. Rather than trying to dictate every outcome, I believe in being present, remaining open to change, and allowing life to reveal where the next opportunity may lead.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value advocacy, growth, adaptability, presence, and creating environments where people can thrive. As an educator and school leader, I believe strongly in advocating for both students and staff and in creating spaces where every stakeholder has the opportunity to succeed. I also value the ability to embrace change, recognize when it is time to pivot, and remain open to new possibilities rather than becoming overly attached to a predetermined plan.
