Ten minutes with Brittany
01What do you attribute your success to?
"Girls2Women™ wasn't created from my success. It was created from my survival. Every version of the girl I used to be became the blueprint for the women I serve today."
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You don't need your family's support to fulfill your purpose. A supportive family is a blessing, but don't be intimidated by those who have large villages standing behind them. Some of the greatest visions begin with one person, one seed, and unwavering faith. Never underestimate small beginnings—because one small seed can grow into an entire forest.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
When you feel that fire igniting within you, don't ignore it. That passion may be God planting a vision that only you can see. Don't expect everyone to understand or support it—vision is often lonely before it becomes visible. There will be dark seasons, moments that feel like an out-of-body experience, and times you'll question everything. Trust the process anyway.
Protect your authenticity. Don't copy what everyone else is doing. Your individuality, creativity, and purpose are gifts that no one can take from you.
Keep dreaming. Keep believing. Journal your vision, read to grow your mind, write with intention, and pray without ceasing. As Scripture reminds us, "Write the vision and make it plain..." (Habakkuk 2:2), and "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5–6)
The vision was given to you for a reason. Stay faithful until the world catches up to what God already showed you.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Everyone is looking to be supported, when the real power comes from learning how to support one another. When individuals, leaders, and organizations choose collaboration over competition, the capacity to serve expands beyond what any one person or entity could accomplish alone. Unity creates access, scale, and a higher level of impact for the community.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Everything must be structured in order to thrive. Healthy boundaries and clear communication are essential foundations for growth. Mental clarity is required for true success, because without it, vision becomes clouded and progress becomes inconsistent. Everything attached to me must carry understanding, knowledge, and alignment with purpose.
