In those moments I used to fear, there was opportunity to be more and help. It was the freedom of getting out of the way and stopping myself before it started.

Her Story

About Brooke

Brooke Baron, LE, CMT, is a licensed esthetician, certified massage therapist, professional makeup artist, and the Founder, CEO, and Owner of Brooke Baron Aesthetics in Westlake Village, California. With a career spanning more than 17 years in professional makeup artistry for film, television, and commercial productions, Brooke developed an extensive understanding of beauty, skin, and individualized aesthetics. Her transition into professional skincare represents an evolution of that expertise, allowing her to work directly with clients and focus on their individual goals for healthy, balanced, and rejuvenated skin. Brooke further developed her expertise through professional esthetics training at the Dallas Skin Institute, where she studied advanced services including custom facials, Hydrafacial, Hydradermie/Lift facials, lash treatments, brow lamination, and other specialized skincare techniques. She also has a background in massage therapy, including continued education in trigger point, pregnancy, rotator cuff, and lymphatic massage. At Brooke Baron Aesthetics, she provides restorative treatments including Procell Therapy Microchanneling & Hair rejuvenation, Guinot microcurrent facials, enzyme treatments, brow lamination, lash lifts, and professional makeup services, with an emphasis on maintaining healthy-looking skin and supporting long-term skin improvement. Brooke's approach to beauty is grounded in authenticity, patience, and individualized care. She believes meaningful results require time and that clients should understand the importance of consistency rather than expecting instant transformation. Her broader personal philosophy is to help people redefine beauty from an internal perspective rather than focusing exclusively on external aesthetics and to enjoy their journey through the process. Having successfully transitioned from the entertainment industry into esthetics and entrepreneurship, Brooke encourages others—particularly young women—to follow their true desires, resist the pressure to simply follow trends, trust themselves and their abilities, and allow their careers to evolve authentically.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Brooke

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to taking the time to be present in the moment rather than rushing decisions. I have learned to trust myself, trust my abilities, and allow things to develop naturally. Giving myself the time and space to make thoughtful decisions has helped me navigate major career transitions and ultimately build a career that feels authentic to who I am.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have received is to take my time, stay present, and not rush anything. I believe in going with the flow while remaining open to where the process leads. By allowing myself to experience each moment fully rather than forcing an outcome, I have been able to grow naturally and discover opportunities that have brought me to where I am today.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to follow their hearts and pursue what genuinely feels right for them rather than simply following trends or expectations. Authenticity is powerful. When you are true to yourself and pursue work that brings you happiness and fulfillment, you naturally attract the right people, opportunities, and support system. I also believe it is important to give yourself permission to change direction when your goals and passions evolve.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in aesthetics and skincare is that many people expect immediate results from treatments. Meaningful improvements in skin health and appearance often take time, consistency, and effort from both the professional and the client. I see an important opportunity to educate clients about realistic expectations and the value of restorative, progressive treatments rather than promising instant transformation. Not to focus on the outcome, take the time and be involved in their journey to have a better outcome together. That's where the sweet spot is.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity and honesty are extremely important to me. I believe in being genuine, speaking truthfully, and staying aligned with who I am rather than trying to conform to outside expectations. My goal is also to help people redefine beauty from the inside out, encouraging them to see beauty as something that extends beyond external appearance.
