Her Story

About Caitlin

Caitlin Cline is a Chief of Staff at Lemus Remodeling with approximately 10 years of experience in the home exterior remodeling industry. She works within a fast-growing startup operating under a larger organization established in 2007. In her current role, she serves as a central operations leader and cross-functional resource, overseeing a wide range of business functions including accounting support, human resources, customer service, call center management, and day-to-day operational needs. Her role functions as a catch-all leadership position focused on keeping the business running smoothly, efficiently, and with strong internal alignment.

Her career in the industry began when a friend introduced her to a call center position at a major home improvement company. Quickly demonstrating a strong aptitude for the field, she expanded her experience across multiple departments, moving into production where she gained hands-on expertise in windows and doors. From there, she progressed into leadership, eventually managing the production coordinator team after years of building operational knowledge. She later served as a project manager for approximately a year, further strengthening her experience in client coordination and production oversight before briefly stepping away to explore other professional interests. Ultimately, her commitment to the industry brought her back when the opportunity at Lemus Remodeling arose.

One of her most meaningful professional achievements was earning the promotion to Production Coordinator Manager in a competitive environment where she was up against a more tenured male colleague. With the support of senior managers who recognized her capability and performance, she stepped into the role and succeeded in a traditionally male-dominated space, proving her leadership and operational strengths. This experience solidified her reputation as a resilient and capable leader who earns advancement through results, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the business from the ground up.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Caitlin

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to persistence, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously learn and take on new challenges. Over the past 10 years in the home exterior remodeling industry, I’ve grown from call center roles into production management and now serve as Chief of Staff at Lemus Remodeling, where I support multiple areas of the business including accounting, HR, and customer service. My career progression has been shaped by staying open to opportunity, even when it meant stepping into unfamiliar roles and building expertise from the ground up. One of my most meaningful achievements was becoming a production coordinator manager in a male-dominated environment, where I had to prove my capabilities and earn trust despite gender-based challenges. I also credit my success to a commitment to supporting others, including mentoring and training team members such as our call center representative, and believing in the importance of authenticity, confidence, and lifting other women in the industry as I continue to grow.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't let intimidation stop you. You don't have to change who you are to succeed in this industry. Learn as much as you can, ask questions, and just stay confident. You're going to be underestimated, but if you're confident and you understand that your perspective is valuable, some of the strongest leaders I've met in this industry are women, and they've brought authenticity and professionalism into spaces that desperately needed it. Instead of allowing a challenging environment to discourage you, let it motivate you to grow stronger and more confident in your abilities. Even though it may not feel like it at the time, upper management and the people around you do notice. Knowledge and professionalism and consistency do speak for themselves over time.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my professional and personal life are integrity, resilience, compassion, and service to others. I strive to lead with honesty and accountability, remain adaptable through challenges, and create supportive environments where people feel respected and empowered. Giving back is also deeply important to me. I have supported the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through donations and fundraising events, including a 5K, in honor of my mother, who passed away from complications related to MS when I was 20.
