Her Story
About Caroline
Caroline Cabral is a Production Manager at JamBase, where she leads digital marketing and advertising campaign operations that connect fans with concerts, festivals, and venues across the United States. With approximately 15 years of experience spanning the music, entertainment, events, and nonprofit sectors, she has built a career focused on audience engagement, operational excellence, and supporting the teams behind live entertainment.
Her passion for live music began at the grassroots level, selling merchandise for local bands before transitioning into nonprofit event management. Early in her career, she coordinated fundraising walks and large-scale community events for organizations including The ALS Association in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she developed expertise in logistics, communications, and event execution.
Caroline later expanded into venue operations and talent buying, overseeing artist booking, contract negotiations, marketing strategy, and the full event lifecycle.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served as an operations lead for a rare disease nonprofit, managing organizational communications, social media, newsletters, grant writing, virtual programming, and digital engagement during a period of rapid change.
Today, Caroline combines that diverse experience with her passion for live music in her role at JamBase. She oversees high-volume, multi-channel marketing campaigns and collaborates with promoters, venues, festivals, and industry partners nationwide, including major organizations such as Live Nation and Spotify. She oversees integrated marketing campaigns across email, digital advertising, and campaign production, working cross-functionally to help audiences discover and experience live music.

Ten minutes with Caroline
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion for live music. If you keep going and follow what you love, it can eventually grow into a career you’re truly passionate about.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just keep swimming, follow your heart. It's easier said than done, but that advice has guided me throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never let anyone silence your voice. It can be challenging to build a career as a woman in industries where leadership is still often male-dominated, but your perspective matters. Know your worth, speak with confidence, and remember that you deserve to be heard and valued.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
We work closely with promoters to help make live music more accessible, but the rising cost of attending concerts and festivals remains one of the biggest challenges facing the industry today.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and integrity are the most important values to me. Just being a real human can be difficult in this modern digital age, but honesty and integrity go such a long way in any role.
