I would consider myself a very professional, kind , driven, and compassionate blessed woman that truly found her destiny but not without learning and growing from not just my positions but my experience.The rewards of truly going that extra mile to help people in my industry by far exceeded my expectations.
Today I dedicate my daily life to applying these standards and values and above all I want to make that difference and make a sometimes hard situation a little less painful by an accurate quick signing.
I have held plenty of very important positions in my career and I and am grateful for the experience and lessons it taught me . Made me who I am today. And today I will say nothing feels better or touches me more than when I’m helping a client in time of need. I feel that I have arrived at my destiny only to do more. More I give, more I receive ! I am assured my purpose in my journey is right here as a mobile Notary Pubic serving my community.
Well when I’m not working as a Mobile Notary you can find me gardening by the river or collecting heart shaped rocks by the ocean. Karaoke with my friends . I love to cook and create . Dancing and swimming for exercise. I’m a mother of 2 grown successful beautiful boys who have always been there to support me and my dreams. I’m truly blessed in my personal and professional life.

Determination and picking myself up if I fall and keep
going. Having the passion and love for what I do has inspired me to become a better me and professional.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To apply the 48 hr rule. Which is not to make an important decision for 48 hours . Truth is in 48 hours your perspective changes . Taught me to think everything thru ! Not to act on emotion .
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To stay persistent and learn something new every day!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are a lot of opportunities in my field.

Against all odds
Being a woman in a male dominated field
When I started out as a loan officer—this was before GPS existed and long before an NMLS license was required, so a long time ago, in 2001!—I was the only woman loan officer in my office. At that time, mortgage loan officers were mostly men, until licensing became a factor in 2008, which separated the real players from the weak players.
Many loan officers were eliminated due to lack of education, questionable ethics, or failure to pass the exam. The educated, ethical, and experienced mortgage loan officers became licensed. I studied for the exam nights and weekends while working during the day at a mortgage company. It was not easy—lots of studying and long hours.
When I passed the loan originator’s exam with a high score, I felt like I had truly arrived. And I had! I became a branch manager, licensed through the Division of Banks. I ran a branch for five years as a woman leader—but not without sweat, long hours, and consistency. We flourished.
The team I built consisted of myself and my assistant, Angela, who spoke four languages. She was eager to learn, and together we became dynamic. We were taking loan applications in four languages—highly in demand but virtually unheard of at the time. By helping the community, the business took off.
I could not have done it without Angela, and without women supporting other women as Angela and I did. I learned a lot from that experience: rising in a male-dominated field with the help of women supporting women shaped me into the leader and person I am today.
