Chandra Cleveland, PhD., LPI, CHTI, is a distinguished leader in law enforcement, private investigations, and personal protection, with over four decades of experience dedicated to safeguarding individuals and communities. As the Chief Executive Officer of SHE Private Investigations & Consultants Group, she has built a reputation for creating secure and empowering environments for women and girls, providing education, advocacy, and proactive safety strategies. Her expertise spans human trafficking investigations, executive and personal protection, and risk management, making her a trusted advisor for high-profile executives, celebrities, and organizations.
Dr. Cleveland is a Board-Certified Human Trafficking Investigator (CHTI) and a Licensed Private Investigator (LPI), recognized for her proficiency in digital evidence collection, interrogation, intelligence gathering, and investigative reporting. She also holds advanced degrees in social psychology and education, and has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including First Female Deputy of the Year and the Trailblazer Award from the Mayor of Ghana. 03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow, and to never underestimate your ability to make a difference. Pursue excellence, advocate for yourself and others, and remain resilient in the face of challenges.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities is the expansion of human trafficking awareness and prevention efforts. The challenge lies in staying ahead of increasingly sophisticated criminal networks while educating communities and equipping individuals with the knowledge to protect themselves.

The values I hold most important are integrity, compassion, and empowerment. I strive to protect and educate those I serve while remaining committed to justice and safety in both my professional and personal life.
