Her Interview
Ten minutes with Christina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say to my mindset first off, it all starts with you. My relationship with God is huge, that's a big reason why I am where I am right now. God opening the right doors at the right time. And then the mindset that I can do everything that I set my mind to, not putting limitations on myself. I am a minority in this space and even though I may not have a lot of tenure as well, that's a lot of where my success is coming from.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
First off, building visibility across your network, building connections, both internal and external relationships, creating a strong support system and opening doors. Being proactive, not assuming hard work will make the right people notice. Don't be afraid to showcase your achievements. Mastering your domain, learn your subject very well so your opinions are taken seriously and you become an asset to the team.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I would say probably integrity, always being honest, representing yourself honestly, keeping those promises, building trust, having a customer-first mindset, always looking out for the client not your own. Accountability, taking full ownership of my commitment to my clients. And then empathy, understanding the pain points of my prospects. So integrity, empathy, accountability, and having a customer-first mindset.
