Her Interview
Ten minutes with Christina
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my personal journey through addiction and recovery, which inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others. What began as a desire to support people facing similar struggles became my calling to advocate for recovery, educate communities, and create opportunities for lasting change. Every experience I've overcome has strengthened my purpose and continues to motivate me to make a meaningful difference, particularly for military veterans and individuals seeking a second chance.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to set meaningful goals and take complete ownership of achieving them. Believe that what you are working toward is possible, even when you don't yet have every answer or resource. Success begins with confidence in your vision, consistent action, and the willingness to keep moving forward despite uncertainty.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges I am facing is building a rehabilitation center from the ground up. This requires extensive planning, research, fundraising, regulatory compliance, nonprofit development, and assembling the right team to support the mission. While these challenges are significant, they also represent an incredible opportunity to create a recovery program that provides meaningful support, particularly for military veterans, and helps transform lives for years to come.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe the only true limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. I strive to maintain a strong mindset, persevere through every challenge, and refuse to accept limiting beliefs imposed by others. My values center on resilience, personal responsibility, determination, and empowering others to recognize their own potential and pursue goals they once believed were impossible.
