Her Interview

Ten minutes with Christina

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to relentlessness, adaptability, and a proactive approach. I see something happening and I'm already planning ahead with options A and B. When new technology emerges, instead of worrying, I figure out how to elevate my skill set to stay marketable and move in that direction.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I've had mentors throughout the years and a good network of people that I can bounce ideas off of. It's important to have people like that in your life because it takes a village.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stay ready so you don't have to get ready. This is a lifelong learning journey. Build up a good network, actually do the practice, learn as many different tools and technologies as you can, and constantly be growing even on your own time. Learn the basics but work towards setting yourself apart.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The field is changing so much with AI. It's important to stay abreast of what's going on. I'm focusing on AI fluency and helping people use AI products effectively in their organizations.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My mission is to live full and die empty. I value being able to give something important to help people maximize their potential, whether it's teaching, creating learning, or giving resources. I want to be an asset to people and know that what I do counts and makes a difference.
