Her Interview

Ten minutes with Christine

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to God’s grace and the unwavering support of my family. My faith has been my foundation—guiding my decisions, shaping my character, and keeping me grounded through every season of growth, challenge, and opportunity. I truly believe that when your heart is aligned with your purpose and you walk in integrity, doors will open that no one can shut.

My family has been my rock. Their encouragement, patience, and belief in me—especially during the times I doubted myself—have fueled my determination and kept me focused. As a wife and mother, every achievement is not just mine, but a reflection of the love, strength, and values we hold together.

I also give credit to the incredible people and organizations I’ve been blessed to work with. Each experience has taught me something new and reinforced the importance of service, excellence, and authenticity in everything I do.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received—and now live by—is that every hiccup is a lesson, and there’s no such thing as failure, only growth. Every setback, detour, or unexpected challenge has taught me something valuable that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. Whether it was a job that didn’t align with my purpose or a project that didn’t go as planned, each moment built resilience, sharpened my focus, and prepared me for the next level.

I’ve learned to trust the process, knowing that God doesn’t waste experiences—He uses them. My faith reminds me that even delays can be divine preparation, and my family reminds me of what truly matters. Their support gives me strength, and their love keeps me grounded.

Success isn’t about never stumbling—it’s about learning to stand taller every time you do.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It’s alright to rest—just don’t quit.
This industry can be fast-paced, demanding, and at times overwhelming, especially when you're trying to prove yourself or wear multiple hats. But rest is not a weakness—it’s a strategy. Giving yourself permission to pause, breathe, and regroup is essential to longevity and clarity.

As women, we often carry the weight of ambition and responsibility on our shoulders, but you don’t have to burn out to stand out. Prioritize your peace, protect your purpose, and know that setbacks don't disqualify you—they refine you.

Also, bring your whole self to the table. Your faith, your values, your background—those are your superpowers. There’s space for you here, and you don't need to dim your light to belong.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in marketing right now is weeding out what people think is marketing from what truly drives results. The digital space is flooded with trends, quick-fix tactics, and surface-level strategies that are often mistaken for real marketing. Just because something looks good on social media doesn’t mean it’s aligned with business goals—or that it's working.

That’s also where the opportunity lies: in educating clients and communities about the strategy behind the visuals. There’s a huge gap between pretty branding and purposeful messaging, and I see that as my role—to help bridge that gap. I focus on creating intentional, values-based marketing that aligns with your mission, speaks to the right audience, and drives sustainable growth.

In a time where anyone can claim to be a marketer with a Canva account and a ring light, the real value is in clarity, consistency, and connection. That’s what I bring to the table through CR Marketing.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith

My relationship with God is the foundation for everything I do. It keeps me grounded, fuels my compassion, and reminds me that my work isn’t just about profit—it’s about people, impact, and service. I believe that when you move with faith and obedience, the right doors open at the right time.

Family

My family is my biggest source of strength, inspiration, and accountability. They remind me why I work so hard and what truly matters at the end of the day. Every decision I make—from the clients I take on to the late nights I sometimes endure—is made with them in mind.

Integrity

I believe in doing honest work, even when no one is watching. In a digital world full of shortcuts and surface-level marketing, I stand by transparency, ethical strategy, and clear communication. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and truly supported.

Purpose

I don’t believe in doing anything “just to keep up.” Every campaign, every partnership, and every project should align with a bigger purpose. My goal is to create work that’s not only effective but meaningful—for my clients, my community, and the people they serve.
