Her Interview
Ten minutes with Chyna
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God and the support, strength, knowledge, and wisdom He has given me throughout my personal journey of trials and tribulations. My experiences have shaped the way I approach both my professional and personal life and have given me the perspective and resilience necessary to make a meaningful impact. I am grateful for the lessons I have gained through those experiences and for the ability to use them to help others and serve my community.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is not to limit myself and to recognize that people genuinely want to support me. I have learned the importance of being open to receiving that support rather than assuming I have to accomplish everything independently. Allowing others to contribute, guide, and encourage me can create opportunities for growth that I might not have recognized on my own.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to believe that they are the right person for the opportunities in front of them while remaining open to learning. Confidence and humility can work together. Believe in your ability to contribute, but also remain willing to learn from others, develop new skills, and grow through each experience. You do not have to know everything when you begin; you simply need to be willing to learn and trust that you have something valuable to offer.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are respect, faith, and rest. I believe respect is essential to creating healthy and productive environments where people are treated with dignity. Faith provides an important foundation in my life, particularly in how I navigate challenges and serve others. I also value rest because maintaining balance and allowing myself time to recover are important to sustaining meaningful work and personal well-being.
