Ciara Wong is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and connected. With experience spanning tech, higher education, nonprofits, events, and local government, she has built a career focused on employee engagement, cultural connection, and advancing opportunities for underrepresented groups.

As an Employee Engagement leader and DEIB advocate, Ciara designs and executes programs that enhance workplace culture, foster belonging, and strengthen collaboration across teams. Guided by her StrengthsFinder Top 5—Input, Connectedness, Discipline, Relator, and Achiever—she approaches every initiative with a balance of strategy, purpose, and joy.

Beyond her corporate work, Ciara is an Event Sales and Marketing Strategist of Thirsty Dumpling, a community-driven culinary experience that blends food, culture, and connection. Through dumpling-making classes and creative workshops, she brings people together while celebrating shared traditions and new perspectives.

Ciara holds a B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver, with a concentration in Organizational Development. Her work and volunteerism are also deeply tied to mental health advocacy, DEIB advancement, and environmental sustainability.

One of the biggest challenges I face in this industry is keeping up with the demand of the field, managing my time effectively, and meeting deadline goals.
