Her Story

About Cintia

Cintia Leone is the Founder of Lux Funnels, LLC, a boutique marketing studio that helps service business owners, including medspas, wellness and beauty brands, salons, and coaches, build marketing strategies and customer journeys that feel authentic to who they are. Her approach rests on three services: Local SEO gets clients found by people searching for their services nearby, Content Strategy builds trust and positions them as the expert, and Web Design creates the customer experience that turns browsers into bookers. Together, they create sustainable growth that does not depend on constant posting.

Cintia's entrepreneurial path began after eight years in banking. In 2006 she founded a language school in Boston, growing it from zero into a fully accredited institution. She secured federal approval to enroll international students through her own research, without legal support, and negotiated a prime lease in downtown Boston. The school was acquired in 2014, and she stayed on as manager until October 2015. She then co-founded House Bliss Cleaning with her mother, scaling it to more than 100 recurring clients through digital marketing before a successful exit in 2021. As a spa manager, she grew the business's Google reviews from 20 to 239 using local SEO, experience that led her to launch Lux Funnels in 2025.

Originally from Brazil, Cintia is a wife and proud mother of two young adults, and family has been at the heart of her journey, from building her second business alongside her mother to the support that carries her work today. She speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish and is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner. Her mission is to close the knowledge gap for underrepresented entrepreneurs, especially Latina women and stay-at-home moms, by giving them practical, actionable strategies and the support to grow sustainably. She is working to launch a North of Boston chapter of Social Media Club and remains active in her local church community.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Cintia

01What do you attribute your success to?

In hindsight, I attribute my success first and foremost to God, who I can now see has guided me throughout my life. I've also been fortunate to have the unwavering support of my family and friends, and many of the meaningful connections I've made through them have led directly to opportunities in my business. These are gifts I could never control, and I consider myself truly blessed to have them. The one thing I have always been able to control is how I show up, and I strive for excellence in everything I do. Combined with approaching every professional relationship by asking how I can be of help, that commitment to excellence has carried me forward.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Worry less. Keep putting your best effort into everything you do, but don't let worry about the future take up space in your mind. Doing the work well today is what builds tomorrow, and fear of what might happen only holds you back from what you can do right now.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Learn the fundamentals behind the trends. Platforms and tools will keep changing, but understanding how people search, what builds trust, and how a customer decides to buy will serve you for your whole career. And remember that your social feed does not define your expertise. The quality of your work and the results you create for your clients are what truly build your reputation.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge and the biggest opportunity are the same thing: letting go of the fear of being seen. I see so many women who're reaching midlife, who are still full of energy, talent, and experience to give back to their communities, but they are so afraid to show up on their marketing. Social media gives us a reach we could never have imagined in the past, and that door is open to all of us. My message is simple: be yourself, and show yourself.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith, family, and service are the values that matter most to me. My faith in God has become a guiding light, my family and friends have been a steady source of support, and in my professional relationships I always try to lead by asking how I can genuinely help the other person rather than simply what I can gain.
