Colleen Barrett is a seasoned sales and financial services leader recognized for her ability to build high-performing teams, develop future leaders, and consistently deliver exceptional business results. With more than a decade of experience in finance and sales leadership, she has earned a reputation for exceeding performance goals while fostering a people-first culture rooted in servant leadership. Throughout her career, she has achieved top sales and management honors at organizations including Americor, Symple Lending, Higher Level Processing, and Priority Plus Financial, demonstrating a proven ability to drive revenue, improve operational performance, and mentor teams to sustained success.
Currently serving as a Senior Account Manager at Americor, Colleen focuses on leadership development, corporate training, client support, and debt resolution strategies while helping organizations strengthen their sales operations and management capabilities. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and has further enhanced her expertise through Harvard Business School Online programs in CORe, Leadership Skills, and Strategy Execution, with additional studies in business, artificial intelligence, and finance. Her professional philosophy emphasizes integrity, accountability, continuous learning, and empowering others to achieve their full potential.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Colleen is deeply committed to community service and personal development. As a board member and advocate for We Are One Sports Academy, she supports initiatives that provide mentorship, fitness, and life skills to at-risk youth and adults overcoming trauma. Following the personal loss of her fiancé, she has become an outspoken advocate for mental wellness, resilience, and creating supportive environments where individuals can rebuild confidence and purpose. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, authenticity, unwavering commitment, and a focus on serving others. My will is stronger than anyone else's, and I strive to leave people better than I found them through trust, education, and integrity.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never stop learning and remain humble while making difficult decisions with integrity. Growth begins where comfort ends, and actions define who you are, not titles.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't underestimate your voice or value. Walk into every room believing you belong there. Learn relentlessly, ask questions, embrace feedback, and focus on lifting other women rather than competing.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Restoring trust through education, transparency, and ethical leadership. Prioritizing long-term client success over immediate gains, and investing in leadership development and supportive cultures.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me, both professionally and personally, are strong ethics, resilience, self-respect, and a genuine commitment to serving others. I believe in doing the right thing, even when it is challenging, and approaching every responsibility with honesty, integrity, and accountability. I strive to treat others with respect, uphold high ethical standards, and make a positive impact through meaningful work driven by purpose.
