Constance Jones is an AI strategist and founder of The 620, dedicated to helping solopreneurs and small business owners build systems and infrastructure that reduce owner dependency and enable scalable growth. Based in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area of South Carolina, she specializes in designing AI-powered workflows that standardize operations, automate client follow-up, reduce decision fatigue, and clarify team ownership. Constance works directly with founders and leadership teams to move businesses from experimentation to fully installed systems, ensuring AI creates leverage rather than noise.

Constance’s journey into AI began with a personal goal: to create illustrations for her published children’s books without the high costs of outsourcing. As she explored the technology, she recognized its broader potential to transform small business operations. Motivated by this insight, she completed an AI certification program, equipping herself to help businesses implement practical, scalable solutions. Her work blends her expertise in AI with her deep commitment to integrity, empathy, and compassion, ensuring that every strategy she implements aligns with the human side of business.

In addition to her AI consulting, Constance draws on a strong foundation in business and entrepreneurship, holding a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and a BS in Business Administration. She maintains an active presence in the community through workshops, volunteer initiatives, and speaking engagements, sharing her knowledge and experience with growing business owners. Her company, The 620, reflects a vision she attributes to God, symbolizing the intersection of faith, strategy, and innovation that drives her work.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying faithful to the path that God has placed before me and fully committing to it. I believe that when He gives me a vision, it is both my duty and responsibility to pursue it with dedication. Following through on that calling ensures that I am honoring the purpose He has entrusted to me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received actually comes from two sources. My mother always told me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. My pastor, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of doing what you love, trusting that everything else will fall into place. Together, these pieces of advice have guided me to pursue my goals with both passion and determination.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to start by identifying a problem and focusing on solving it. The industry is evolving rapidly, so approaching challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset will set you up for success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is the emergence of AI. Many business owners recognize that AI is essential for staying competitive, but they aren’t always sure how to implement it or understand its full impact. Helping organizations navigate this new landscape and integrate AI effectively presents both a challenge and an exciting opportunity to shape the future of business.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, empathy, and compassion. I place a strong emphasis on understanding and connecting with others, which is a theme I explore deeply in both of my books. Being an advocate for empathy and compassion guides how I lead, collaborate, and make decisions every day.
