Constance Jones

AI Strategist / Founder
The 620
Spartanburg, SC 29349

Constance Jones is an AI strategist and founder of The 620, where she helps entrepreneurs and small business owners build systems that reduce owner dependency and create space for sustainable growth.

Her work centers on one core belief: technology should support people—not overwhelm them.

Based in South Carolina, Constance specializes in designing AI-powered workflows that simplify operations, automate repetitive tasks, and bring structure to the everyday demands of running a business. She works closely with founders and teams to move them from experimentation to implementation—turning AI from a concept into a practical, integrated part of how they operate.

Her path into AI began with a simple goal: to create illustrations for her published children’s books without the high cost of outsourcing. As she explored the technology, she quickly recognized its broader potential—not just as a tool, but as a lever for transformation in small business operations.

Motivated by that insight, she pursued AI certification and began helping others apply these tools in ways that are clear, scalable, and aligned with how real businesses function. Her approach blends technical strategy with a deep commitment to integrity, empathy, and clarity—ensuring that every system she builds serves both the business and the people behind it.

In addition to her consulting work, Constance is an active voice in her community, leading workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements that make AI more accessible and actionable. Through The 620, she is building more than a workspace—she is creating a bridge to opportunity for those ready to grow with the right tools and support.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying faithful to the path that God has placed before me and fully committing to it. I believe that when He gives me a vision, it is both my duty and responsibility to pursue it with dedication. Following through on that calling ensures that I am honoring the purpose He has entrusted to me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received actually comes from two sources. My mother always told me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. My pastor, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of doing what you love, trusting that everything else will fall into place. Together, these pieces of advice have guided me to pursue my goals with both passion and determination.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to start by identifying a problem and focusing on solving it. The industry is evolving rapidly, so approaching challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset will set you up for success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is the emergence of AI. Many business owners recognize that AI is essential for staying competitive, but they aren’t always sure how to implement it or understand its full impact. Helping organizations navigate this new landscape and integrate AI effectively presents both a challenge and an exciting opportunity to shape the future of business.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, empathy, and compassion. I place a strong emphasis on understanding and connecting with others, which is a theme I explore deeply in both of my books. Being an advocate for empathy and compassion guides how I lead, collaborate, and make decisions every day.
