Coralyn Jewel is a Master Sexologist, international best-selling author, motivational speaker, and media professional whose career reflects resilience, reinvention, and purpose-driven impact. Born in South Africa and raised in the United States, Coralyn began her professional journey as a figure skating Olympic hopeful before a career-ending injury forced her to reimagine her path. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Directing and Theatrical Production from the University of North Carolina Asheville, initially working as a figure skating coach and later founding a mobile fitness company for children. Her early career also included more than a decade as a highly successful event planner, specializing in weddings, corporate events, trade shows, and educational seminars, earning WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Award five consecutive years.

Coralyn later transitioned into the adult industry, where she built over 15 years of multifaceted experience spanning production management, directing, photography, content creation, education, coaching, journalism, and on-camera work. Immersing herself fully in the industry, she became a trusted voice advocating for safety, professionalism, and informed participation. In 2021, she furthered her education by earning certification as a Master Sexologist through Loveology University, allowing her to expand her work into sex-positive education, coaching, and therapeutic chat services with the Susan Block Institute. Her writing and commentary have appeared across leading platforms, and she is the author of When the Ice Melts: The Story of Coralyn Jewel, which achieved international best-seller status.

Today, Coralyn Jewel is recognized for her work in sexual health education, alternative relationship advocacy, and personal empowerment. She hosts the podcast Embrace, contributes as a freelance journalist, and speaks nationally on topics including self-acceptance, sexuality, and living authentically without shame. Fluent in English and Swedish and shaped by years living abroad in Europe, Coralyn brings a global, nonjudgmental perspective to her work. Guided by honesty, empathy, and the belief that every person has a story worth hearing, she continues to empower others to live fully, consciously, and unapologetically.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to helping others who struggle with sexual fetishes, desires, and self-acceptance. By leading with empathy, lived experience, and education, I have been able to connect with people on a deeply human level and support them in understanding their sexuality without shame.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that patience will prosper, and to dress for the job you want—not the job you have. That guidance taught me to approach my work with long-term vision, professionalism, and confidence, even during periods of uncertainty or transition.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to live authentically, pursue education relentlessly, and protect both their reputation and personal safety—especially in stigmatized industries. Do what truly makes you happy, but do it with intention, self-respect, and awareness. Your story matters, and your voice has power.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The adult industry is an ever-changing industry. We have to battle shadow-banning on our social media accounts, bank accounts being shut down and payment processors closing our accounts because of the industry that we work in.

There is a stigma around the industry and we are judged and treated unfairly. Part of my mission is to change the view society has regarding the industry and those who chose to make this their career.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty is the most important value guiding my work and personal life. I believe in listening without judgment, honoring people’s stories, and creating spaces where individuals feel safe to be seen, heard, and understood.
