Courtney E. Smith
Courtney Smith is a passionate Interior Design Consultant at Triton Stone Group, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A proud alumna of Louisiana State University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for how thoughtful design enhances both functionality and well-being. Courtney brings a keen eye for detail and creativity to every project, specializing in residential design, textile and fixture selection, and the integration of classic and modern aesthetics.
Before joining Triton Stone Group, Courtney gained valuable experience as an Interior Design Intern at Fireside Antiques & Interiors, where she supported senior designers, managed material libraries, coordinated with vendors, and assisted in professional photo shoots. She also served as an Interior Design Consultant at RH in Metairie, Louisiana, where she further honed her expertise in client experience, space planning, and visual presentation. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to design excellence and client satisfaction.
Beyond her design career, Courtney is an active member of Chi Omega’s Phi Gamma Chapter at LSU and holds the Make-A-Wish Foundation close to her heart through her philanthropic involvement. Her design philosophy centers on creating spaces that reflect individuality while fostering comfort, connection, and emotional well-being. With her creative mindset and collaborative spirit, Courtney continues to make her mark in the design industry by transforming everyday spaces into meaningful, inspiring environments.

I attribute my success to my strong work ethic and determination to provide for my family so that we can stay together and build a better future.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to be patient and open to learning. Your education gives you the foundation, but real growth comes from hands-on experience. When you start out, take your time—dip your toes in, explore different areas, and find what truly fits you before diving in fully.
