Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to growing up in a home where higher education wasn’t emphasized, which taught me to value learning and discover my own intelligence. This inspired me to create opportunities for underserved children, showing them how big their future can be despite their circumstances.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that I am intelligent, and my story and influence matter. I can pursue higher education and use my experiences to impact others positively.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women to stay the course, never give up, and embrace the journey. It’s equally important to take time for yourself—engage in activities that bring you joy, such as hiking, horseback riding, exercising, and reading books on personal growth.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge I face is being able to do everything myself while growing my team. I need additional support to expand our reach and provide more children with opportunities to thrive.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values in my life are making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, spreading awareness about educational equity, and ensuring every student has access to opportunities that foster their growth and leadership potential.
