The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is that the more you know, the more you grow. Commit to continuous learning, as knowledge and curiosity are key drivers of long-term success in a data-driven field. It is also important to embrace change rather than resist it, as growth often comes from adapting to new technologies, processes, and challenges. The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now revolve around helping organizations fully leverage business intelligence and analytics to improve decision-making and operational performance. Many businesses are still working to unify their data, improve visibility across functions, and prioritize analytics initiatives in a way that delivers meaningful impact. At the same time, there is a significant opportunity to drive transformation by using data more effectively, especially in manufacturing environments, to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and support smarter, faster business growth.
