Danielle Avila

Danielle Avila is the co-founder of LD Coaching, a professional coaching and consulting company helping dental hygienists, healthcare professionals, and entrepreneurs find alignment in their personal and professional lives. With 17 years of experience in the dental field, Danielle is currently in a transition period, shifting her focus toward growing her coaching and consulting career while maintaining her clinical work. Her journey into coaching began as she sought to invest in herself and rediscover her purpose. As a dental hygienist, Danielle realized she had already been “coaching” patients, listening deeply, guiding behavior change, and helping them achieve their goals, which naturally prepared her to become a professional coach and mentor to others seeking fulfillment and balance.
Through LD Coaching, Danielle works primarily with dental hygienists and dental teams, helping them elevate their mindset, build confidence, and grow both personally and professionally. She and her clients co-create strategies that enhance communication, strengthen team culture, and implement protocols that improve patient outcomes, staff retention, and overall workplace satisfaction. Many of her clients find her organically through professional relationships, referrals, or connections built throughout her years in dentistry. She attributes her success to her ability to build trust through active listening, intuition, and open-minded collaboration. Danielle believes that true leadership is about working toward a shared mission with compassion and doing it with love.
As she continues to expand LD Coaching, Danielle’s focus is on deepening her impact in coaching and consulting, guiding others through their own transitions, and helping them step into alignment where passion, purpose, and profession thrive together. Visit www.ldiamantecoaching.com

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to courage and fortitude, which have guided me through challenges and enabled me to persevere and achieve my goals.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from two incredible mentors, Sarah Crowe and Dr. Pamela Maragliano. They consistently encouraged me to think bigger, step outside my comfort zone, and lead with both confidence and empathy. Their belief in my potential has profoundly shaped the way I show up—as a clinician, coach, and leader.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never give up on yourself, even when times get tiring or the journey feels full of ups and downs. Perseverance and self-belief are key to navigating challenges and achieving success.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now are the days of uncertainty, but I’m grateful I never gave up. These challenges also bring opportunities to grow, adapt, and help others navigate their own journeys with resilience and confidence.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I homeschool my daughter, and we love crafting, spending time in the water, cooking, and simply being together. These moments of connection and shared experiences are what matter most to me, both in my personal life and in the values I bring to my work.
